All-round ethernet camera with many different versions and special sensor seal
The UI-5120SE-M is a GigE camera with HDR (High Dynamic Range) CMOS sensor in CCIR/PAL resolution (768x576 pixels). Thanks to its logarithmic characteristic this sensor achieves a very high dynamic range of 120 dB, which is about 1,000 times more than conventional sensors can provide. Thus the UI-5120SE-M is perfectly suited for applications that have very high brightness differences.
Its extremely rugged housing meets the IP65 / IP67 protection classes when used together with an optional lens tube. The connectors for power and digital I/Os (opto-coupled, up to 30 V) as well as the GigE port are also splash water proof.

The UI-5240SE is a particularly powerful industrial camera with the e2v 1.3 megapixel CMOS sensor. This is one of the most sensitive sensors in the IDS product portfolio and it is available in monochrome, color (EV76C560ABT/EV76C560ACT), and NIR versions (EV76C661ABT). Besides its outstanding sensitivity to light in CCD quality, the camera also has a range of other distinctive features: For example, the sensor provides two global shutter and two rolling shutter modes, which you can switch between while the camera is in operation. This makes the sensor extremely flexible if requirements or ambient conditions change. There are also up to four areas of interest (AOI). You can use these either to check several features simultaneously or to capture AOIs in a sequence of exposures using a wide range of different parameters.

The UI-5580SE is fitted with the 5 megapixel CMOS sensor (MT9P006STC - color version) from ON Semiconductor. About half an inch in size, the sensor delivers a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels as well as rolling and global start shutter features. Thanks to the innovative A-Pix pixel technology, the sensor is extremely sensitive to light, which makes it an affordable alternative to many CCD sensors currently available on the market. This also makes the camera particularly suitable for applications that require maximum precision in color rendering and crystal clear image quality. The A-Pix pixel technology from ON Semiconductor is based on the gathering of light by a lightguide, which directs the gathered incident light from the color filter to the surface of the photo diode. Structure and process improvements in pixel technology have increased the sensitivity of the sensor in the red and green range in particular by up to 30% compared to the previous version of the sensor.
